Some of my favorite Rooms

We just painted our dining room what I guess you would call a shade of brown like a paper sack. We've been in the house almost a year and until now we have kept every room the same shade of neutral that the house came with. I decided to get every room the way I wanted first then decide what color.


So, here are some pictures of some dining rooms in a similiar shade of brown as ours and the other dining rooms I just like :)

Goody,Goody, Gumdrops!

We partied hard for B.K's 5th Birthday! Spring Break was the week leading up to Easter so we spent the week in Birmingham and also went to American Girl in Atlanta that week. We had her party on Saturday before Easter Sunday and I just can't believe she's 5!

Un-Fun Week

    I went to the Doctor Tuesday for my 11wk check-up and she could not find a heartbeat so I got sent to ultrasound where I found out the baby quit growing 2 wks ago... My Doctor said I could let the miscarriage happen on its own or have a D & C. I didn't decide that day I had to let it set in but when me and Scotty started searching on the internet we decided I should go ahead with the D & C.
    

   I had the D & C Friday morning under General Anesthesia. I got home and rested most of the day.. that evening I went to Wal-Mart with Scotty we did some walking around and when I got back home my bleeding started getting heavier and heavier . By 10:00 pm I was freaked out and told him to call the Dr. now! We were told to go to the Emergency Room where it's never feels good to be told in the ER " We don't see this everyday and we don't know what were gonna do"  I lost so much blood I almost had to have a blood transfusion. Thank goodness the ob-gyn on call got there and said it looked like I got pinched good during my D & C.... I got poked on for hours with my feet in stirrups so not fun! He f.i.n.a.l.l.y got the bleeding to stop.     So, that was a bad experience I hope I never have to go through again!

Two of a Kind, Working on a Full House........

          Well......I guess since I do not want to do it on Facebook yet ,I should do it on here. Two days after Christmas we found out were expecting baby #3! Wheww. It's still kinda scares me just saying it.  I'm due August 30th and it from what it appears on FB this week I'm definitely not the only one due in August! Something must have been in the water in Corner/Helena.

  Brinley Kate is so overjoyed she can't stand it! She said I've been praying everyday for a baby brother or sister and the Lord has answered my prayers! She has asked me and Scotty way too many questions concerning how I knew I was pregnant....  Anyway, we are excited/nervous pretty much the same way we have been with each kid I reckon'!

 

A short Trip to The Goodwill

This was my second trip to the Fairhope Goodwill. The first time I purchased some Anne Taylor dress pants and some things for house but they had tons of cute matching pictures when I was there! So...second time I went back couple days later not  many pictures left so I got some clothes! Top:$2.29 Jeans:$4.29

One Night Stay

A week and a half ago we took a one night trip to Panama City aka P.C.

Scotty's sister and mother were staying there so we left after B.K got out of school that Friday and had to come back the next morning for a birthday party.

Short trip but I guess it was worth it just to get to do some of the rides at Pier Park and eat at Margaritaville.  It took us about 2 1/2 to get there...Not Bad ehhh?

But we do have Gulf Shores just 45 minutes away soo we'll probably be hanging out there more. But I do love Pier Park!Me,B.K and Sydney

Design Decisions

Here is some different ideas I am thinking about for our Kitchen. See what you think!

I love these barstools! They cost a fortune normally but saw them on Overstock $109.00 for Two! Regular $549.99

I suppose I could do white barstools too but I don't think I like these with the "X".

Soo.. I am trying to decide what to do with my kitchen...as I said before hubs won't let me paint the cabinets white. So, I'm trying to lighten it up with my cabinets being walnut.

I believe this was the kitchen in one of my mags. a few months back just lovin' the wall color/backsplash in grays.

Up close of backsplash...I love classic subway tile

 I am gonna paint my table (it is light wood now so I'm thinking antique white??) But don't want my chairs to match it...but don't know if I want to do them black or not?!? I am what you would say "Wishy Washy"....
